I am new to town and had my fingers crossed there would be good sushi/hibachi close...well look no further!!! I ordered a Vegas roll and the hibachi filet mignon with fried rice Both were AMAZING in taste, price and portion. Ninja is a clean restaurant with friendly and attentive employees. I will definitely be back soon!

While traveling from Wichita, Kansas to Newkirk, Oklahoma, (No, I'm not on Witness Protection), I had an incredibly hard time finding an open restaurant on Sunday evening.
But, through Yelp, I found - of all places a Sushi Steak house in Arkansas City.
This is a quaint little place, which cooks its Steaks and Seafood via a hibachi grill. You can't sit at or around the grill, in fact you can't even see the grill, but they have nice cozy booths.
I sampled the sushi and sashimi selections. A few spicy rolls, the fresh salmon and tuna and asked if the Chef had a favorite unique roll they love making...*Crickets*
Our server just pointed back at the menu...
I was pleasantly surprised, not overwhelmed, but surprised.
The sushi was fresh, and delivered in really respectable portions. The assortment of spicy rolls were plentiful and delicious...but not really spicy. I tried the Spicy Girl and the Jalapeño Roll.
Honestly, I was expecting much, so I'm happy with this find in Arc City- spoken like a true native. -

I've sampled a few things on their menu and aside from the sushi it's meh. I've had a spicy tuna and it was great, the right amount of heat and a fantastic texture. The calamari was frozen and average with a sweet soy dipping sauce. The dumplings were a decent but there's a possibility they were also frozen. The veggie udon was horrendous. The vegetables were over cooked and mush and lacked any real flavor, the udon itself was slimy and the "sauce" if you want to call it that had just a bit more excitement than tap water. I wouldn't feed it to my dog & most of it was tossed in the garbage bin. All the food was take out so it's plausible the order sit too long though I will say the calamari was pipping hot when it was picked up. Overall it's mediocre at best as I've ate at much better Japanese restaurants in the country. It works for the palate of Cowley county though.

Bland, average sushi. -

This was destiny! We went to Ark City to purchase a scooter. On the way to this persons house we passed Ninja Sushi Steak House and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we went here. By far the best Sushi I have ever eaten! I ordered the Chef Sushi, and I am happy I did! My wife ordered the beef hibachi, and she said it was to die for, and that the beef was so tender. This place is well worth a one hour drive just to eat here again to devour another chef sushi roll!

The boba tea wasn't boba tea at all. It comes from a dairy powder and has no tea in it at all. The hibachi combos I ordered for my children tasted weird and the chicken was more of a mushy texture. The service was eh and when I went to pay, they didn't know how to run their program. Like seriously, my mom ordered a combo and water and they tried to charge her 41 dollars. And on my ticket I had food for 3 people and they tried to charge me 19 dollars. No mix up, it was right there on the ticket. The sushi wasn't the best but it wasn't horrible either. Wasn't impressed at all with the place and will not suggest to anyone else.
